Great for those small patch jobs that need re-texturing. Fast setup, very simple to use, easy texture matching and fast clean up. No need for an air compressor, dealing with a hose line and a large hopper to work a small area. I used mine for wall touch ups on areas where I had to cut out the run a plumbing line, repair ripped drywall paper where molding was removed, etc. From an orange peel to a knock down finish, this tool can't be beat for its size. Just make sure to mix the mud to the right consistency of the texture desired and have at it. Fun to use too!
EXCELLENT PRODUCT! This is a must for the 'Do-It-Yourself' person.

For walls and small patches this product works great. However, most of the patch up work I needed to do was in the ceiling and it was extremely difficult to use. I would strongly recommend to spend more money and use a spray type not a hand pump.
